Many thanks to Colorado Christian University for volunteering at South Lakewood Elementary - the 2023 Love Lakewood Day project in their own backyard.

14 Ave Clean Up

Volunteers helped the Two Creeks Neighborhood Organization clean up 14th Ave. Volunteers picked up trash along 14th Ave around Mountair park. Many thanks to TCNO, Mountair Christian Church, and the City of Lakewood for coordinating.

Mural at Mountair Park

Volunteers painted a mural on the west wall of Sprout City Farm. The wall had been previously graffitied, volunteers with the guidance of an artist painted a bright design. Thanks to the City of Lakewood and West 40 Arts for coordinating.

Devinny Elementary

Volunteers helped paint the restrooms at Devinny Elementary! The bathrooms were freshened up after not being painted for 25 years.

Eiber Elementary

Volunteers joined principal Stacy Bedell to paint games on the paved playground area at Eiber Elementary.

Meals of Hope at SCC

Volunteers of all ages met at Southwest Community Church to pack nutrient dense meals for Meals of Hope.

Painting a Basketball Court at LUMC

Volunteers from the Colorado Christian University basketball team mapped out and painted a basketball court in the Lakewood United Methodist Church parking lot.

Slater Elementary

Volunteers helped principal Brooke Tolmachoff with redoing display cabinets throughout he school. Students from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design painted a mural where an art piece had to be taken down.

South Lakewood Elementary

Students from Colorado Christian University painted the library and set up a storage shed at South Lakewood.

WWII Memorial at Lakewood HS

Volunteers cleaned up and planted bulbs around the World War II Memorial at Lakewood High School.
